Make Each Moment Alive Because Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara

I was looking forward to watch Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara. After I  got to listen some rave reviews of the movie from my friends and colleagues, my interest and curiosity about the movie increased. Finally the day came to boost my curiosity.

zindagi na milegi dobara

If anyone asks me to describe the movie in short, I would say it is “infectiously awesome and mindblowingly outstanding”. The two adverbs and two adjectives stand for the four individuals who earn this review for the movie. Farhan Akhtar is infectious in the movie and with his funny one-liners and soulful poems he bonds best with the awesome Abhay Deol who is torn between his commitment and set-me-free nature. No matter how hard you bang your head to a hardwood, it will have no expressible outcome. Don’t worry, I am not going to talk about furniture in the midst of penning down my thoughts about the movie. The ‘hardwood’ thing I used to say about Katrina’s histrionics and there was hardly anyone to be found who did not agree to this. But to my ( I think to everybody’s) astonishment, she is mindblowing in the movie in terms of acting department. She is a treat to watch and her enlivening spirit contributes to the transformation of Hritik  from a guy running after money to a one smitten by love and adventure. The outstanding evolution of his character is great to watch.

Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara inspires you, urges you to make each moment of your life alive, to live life to the fullest. Life is one, life is precious and life is so small for regrets. Whatever you want to do, what experiences  you want to gather and cherish, do them in this life. Life does not come back once it is lost provided you do not believe in rebirth. I don’t understand the concept of rebirth, of fulfilling the unfulfilled ambitions and tasks of past life. How can one remember what he did and what he did not in his past life? Is it possible to remember? I don’t know and probably can’t think of one who has the answers to these questions.

After a long time I spent quality time in a movie theatre watching a thoughtful movie. I also watched ‘Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows Part 2′ and hopefully my next blog would be about this last masterpiece from J.K. Rowling.

Excited about reading Frankenstein

I cannot count how many times I watched Frankenstein on television during my school years. The movie was so thrilling and exciting about a scientist’s failed efforts to create a human being. As I grew up, the memory of the movie slowly and steadily faded. I got engaged in shaping up my career and forgot all about the thrill and excitement of the movie that was a major event during the weekend in my childhood years.

Frankenstein

Last week I went to a book store with my friend to see what the new offerings from the world of litterateurs are. My eyes caught the attention of Mary Shelly’s Frankenstein that lay in the corner of one of the shelves in the classic section of the book store and suddenly the lost memory arose and swept me away, I could resist no more and bought the book immediately. My busy work schedule is not letting me to go through the book for so many days although I am dying to do so. I truly believe that when you start reading an interesting book you cannot breathe a sigh of relief until and unless you finish it. I promise to start reading the book coming Friday night and finish it on Sunday night and I swear to make hell of everything and everyone (except my parents, I am not that ruthless) playing a stumbling block in my pursuit of reading Frankenstein.
